Boscobel; The Most Beautiful Haunted House in America?

Governor Rockefeller once said that Boscobel was the most beautiful house in America. Since it is also haunted, it naturally follows it is the most beautiful haunted house in the country. I have been fortunate to visit several times and conduct a couple of investigations, and each time it has been special--in the paranormal sense of the word. When Mike and I went with psychic Lisa Ann, she sensed the original owner, Elizabeth Dyckman, standing by the palladian window at the back of the house. We later found out that a maintenance worker also saw Elizabeth at that window. Her husband, States Dyckman, has been seen in the dining room, and children have been heard and seen laughing and running on the second floor. The day before Halloween in 2010, I led a public ghost hunt in Boscobel. As I stood on the spot where Elizabeth stands, I told the audience that she had died when she was only 47, and at that instant my K2 EMF meter lit up and I felt an incredible electric charge and strong presence, as if I was standing inside of Elizabeth Dyckman's spirit! Later in the kitchen, I was empathizing with the cooks and servants, saying, "Can you imagine what it was like to cook for all of those people," and the same thing occurred. The K2 lit up to orange, then red, and I actually shuddered from the energy suddenly surrounding me. There is nothing frigtehing here, but it is certainly an intensely haunted location, and spectularly beautiful! Boscobel is well worth a visit for the history, the breathtaking views of the Hudson River, and possibly an encounter with a former owner...
